Happy Holidays!!

This past weekend I had a little get together at my house. It was nice to hang with friends in the middle of everything. Don't get too lost in the holidays and forget to enjoy them!!

Peggy Got Adopted!!

Peggy was adopted on Sunday to a wonderful family. I must admit I was sad to see her go, but I know she went to a good home. And they are going to join the pug meet up so Oliver and I will get to see her from time to time. Best wishes Peggy!!

Welcome Annie!!

Annie is one of 4 Pugs that came into Compassionate Pug Rescue this week. And it's only Tuesday!! She will be staying with me until she is adopted to her forever home. So far all we know is she is 4 years old, very timid, and recently had a litter of puppies. As I learn her habits I will share them with you. Isn't she adorable!!

'Tis the Season!

Well, I wasn't crazy enough to attempt the malls on Black Friday, but I did manage to get my tree up today. Since it's my first Christmas in my new condo, I wanted to make the season last as long as possible. Oliver supervised as the tree went up, and made sure it inspect all of the ornaments before they went on the tree. As for Peggy, she has been hangin' out under the tree since it went up. Maybe she's gonna be a Christmas Present for someone and already knows it............

Yesterday I took Oliver and KT took Axl to CB Smith Park, where they opened up for the dogs to play. Long time friends Oliver and Axl got to enjoy the water together. Thank you KT for sharing the pics with us!!

Compassionate Pug Rescue

Today Compassionate Pug Rescue had a thank you lunch for it's volunteers. We got together and talked about the successes of this year, and our goals for 2008. I've never met such dog loving people. It's great to see so many big hearts for our little friends!! Anyone who is interested in adopting a Pug, or Volunteering with the not for profit organization, please go to the website, and sign up. Peggy the Pug

A new addition arrived at my home today. Peggy has been added to the many we have here at Compassionate Pug Rescue. I'm her foster mom. She will live with Oliver and I until she is adopted. Someone gave her up this past week. So far all I can tell you is that she is the sweetest little girl!! Love her already!! Farenheit's Barber

So last night I found myself back at Farenheit Salon shooting a portrait of their barber. If you want a great cut, or shave for that matter, he's the man to see. Not to mention he's pretty cute too.

Yard Work part 2

After sitting outside this morning enjoying my coffee looking at my beautifully landscaped 1/2 of the yard, I thought it was a good idea to work on the other 1/2. So this is what I accomplished today. I have a feeling it's going to be the beginning of a lot of trips to Home Depot......Wish me luck!!

Yard Work

Since it's November 1st, and I've officially lived in my condo for 9 months, I thought it was time to do some landscaping. Just the beginning of a project, I know it will spawn into several others, but so far this is what I've accomplished.

Compassionate Pug Rescue

I've become a volunteer for Compassionate Pug Rescue. The not for profit organization takes in rescue pugs and provides medical attention, and helps find permanent homes. Before the pugs are adopted they live in foster homes (I'm now one of them!) This way they don't have to stay in a shelter. Hopefully soon I'll get a new addition to my family!!

Pumpkin Carving!!

Tonight my friend Liz and I carved a few pumpkins. We got one of those kits, that came with stencils, and a few mini saws to prefect the creation. With Oliver supervising, I think we did pretty good. We had one minor mishap of the front falling off of one, but we were able to put it back together with a few tooth picks!!

Farenheit Ad Published

I've returned from St. Maarten to be right back into the swing of things! The ad that I shot a few weeks ago was published today, so I can share it with you. It's the first to come in a series. I'm in St. Maarten!

I'm in beautiful St. Maarten! I love working in the Caribean. Unfortunately this is all in French and I can't figure out how to upload any pics! Hopefully by tomorrow I'll have figured it out!! A little fact for you all. I lived here in St. Maarten as a child on the Dutch side for 2 years. :)

Today I shot the new campaign for Farenheit Salon. With a team of 4, it took almost 6 hours to complete the creation. Unfortunately I can't share the final image with you until the campaign runs, but I can show you a few behind the scenes........

Carl's busy day

My good friend Carl Pascuzzi, had a shoot today, for Art Basel, and I stopped by to get a glimpse of what we all will see this December. I got to see the trampoline sequence, try on a few wigs and play with GI Joe's. Not to mention the confetti!!

Doggy Day Care

Even though I've just returned from LA, and haven't slept yet, I somehow managed to offer my services to watch Abby & Turbo for the weekend. My friends Liz & Dean are going to Jamaica for Liz's birthday, so I've got to plan an eventful weekend for the puppies to keep them entertained. I'm thinking that in keeping with my LA party mode, I might throw a doggy disco party tonight, followed by a nice long walk in the morning, and a relaxing afternoon at the local dog park so they can take a swim. I've brought Oliver over to enjoy the disco tonight!

Red Eye From LA

After having a great time in LA, for the pictage partner conference, it was time to come home. So KT and I took the red eye, arriving back in Ft. Lauderdale at 6am today. The first thing we noticed were the lack of telephones. Technology sure is taking over. I don't even know where to find a pay phone anymore, and I know it's probably more than a quarter if you do find one, but I surely couldn't tell you what it would be......

Party Like A ROCKSTAR in LA!!

Of course there was a party at the convention!! KISS Wedding Albums and Show it, sponsored it. They offered free drinks if you wore their hat, and entertained us with hula dancers and a photo booth. Photographers and photo booths are an interesting combination, to say the least!!

KT and I took an early flight to LA yesterday, check out the view! To attend Partner Con. A photo seminar sponsored by Pictage. We went to PhotoBusinessBootCamp, in Atlanta in August. While Liana, the boot camp pro has a booth, and we came to help her out! Can you just imagine 300 photographers all in the same room. It's bananas!!!!

Working On The Website

Hi Everyone! So I've been working on the website night and day all week............Let's hope I have mastered the art of web design, well actually, template design. It's coming together nicely, I've just got a few final touches that I need to work into the site. Fingers crossed that we "go live" next week!!
